Float Switch Motor Pump Control

Pumping of water into a tank is accomplished by motor operation. When the tank is about to be full with water, the motor pump is about to stops to operate. When the tank is about to be emptied, the motor pump will start to operate. Float Switch Motor Pump Control Operation Figure below (A) shows a tank half filled with water. Sequential Control 3 Stages

In industrial processing operation there are cases where machineries should be started one after the another. One example of electrical control applied to machineries in a processing operation is the sequential control shown in figure below (A) and (B). The 3 motors; M1, M2 and M3 are drive mechanical machine. Motor M1 is first started. After a Pre-set time, Motor M2 is started automatically. Later, with another pre-set time, motor M3 is started. Control Operation The first stage of control operation is started by pressing the start push button switch shown in figure 16 (a). Contactor C, timer TR1, and pilot lamp A are energized. Contact C1 (13-14) will close to maintain contactor C, timer TR1, and pilot lamp A. Contacts C2 (1-2,3-4,5-6) will also closed to energize and operate the motor M1, see figure 16 (b). Simple Speed Control Temperature DC Fan Circuit Diagram

This is a simple speed control temperature DC fan circuit diagram . This simple circuit based on two transistors that can be used to control the speed of a 12 V DC fan depending on the temperature.A thermistor (R1) is used to sense the temperature.  When the temperature increases the base current of Q1 (BC 547) increases which in turn decreases the collector voltage of the same transistor. Since the collector of Q1 is coupled to the base of Q2 (BD 140), the decrease in collector voltage of Q1 forward biases the Q2 more and so do the speed of the motor. Also, the brightness of the LED will be proportional to the speed of the motor.  Simple Speed Control Temperature DC Fan Circuit Diagram Notes. The R1 can be a 15K @ 20°C ,N.T.C  thermistor.
