Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Note 4 on 3 September

It is expected that Samsung present its new phone Samsung Galaxy Note 4 officially in September during IFA 2014 event held in Berlin, Germany. Now, the Korean media already have an exact date of this phone Samsung. According to The Korea Times, Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3, a day before the presentation of the Galaxy Note 3 last year. Samsung is expected to start sending invitations to the event "soon", including that the company would be a bit rushed to launch its new mobile big screen because Apple is finally breaking its tradition of offering only one size cell relatively small as the iPhone 6 to gain entry to the high-end market. It is said that Samsung is trying to get the Galaxy Note sale 4 days before what went on Galaxy Note 3 with this same purpose. It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a QHD (2560 × 1440) 5.7 inch screen, a Snapdragon 805 / Exynos 5433 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 16 megapixel camera that would include th...

Build a Power On Reset Circuit Diagram

This is a simple power on switching circuit . This type of reset pulse is ideally provided by this circuit. Because of the high input impedance of the Schmidt trigger, long reset pulse times may be achieved without the excess dissipation that results when both output devices are on simultaneously, as in an ordinary gate device (B). A reset pulse is often required at power-on in a digital system. See circuit diagram below. Simple Power On Reset Circuit Diagram

Samsung Galaxy S6 Aluminum casing and screen bent on both sides

The network has new information about the upcoming flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6. According to recent data, the novelty will receive housing, completely made of aluminum - as in recent models of the Samsung Galaxy A. In addition, the model will be equipped with a touch screen, curved at the end on both sides. Apparently, the screen is much like a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, bent not only on one, and with the two sides. While it is not clear whether a separate version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge or a screen to get basic modification. In addition, there is no consensus regarding the new smartphone processor: it can be a Samsung Exynos 7 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. Finally, a reliable source said that wait for the announcement Samsung Galaxy S6 at CES 2015 in January is not: the device will be officially presented and will available in the second quarter of next year, that is, not until April. These findings are contrary to previous information, respectively, it is no...

Process formation of RGB signal on TV

Basically the UOC is equipped with RGB or YUV input from external, so it is possible to use the DVD input. Selection of these inputs can be done internally within the IC.  But in the G7 and G7A chassis input YUV signal is not used, so in the ground. RGB signal processing flow is described according to the image below : Diagram of the formation RGB signal 1. Signal Yint, uint, and Vint is derived from a series of color decoder and Y / C switch is fed into a series of YUV selector 1. 2. From YUV selector, sub-carrier signal color (U and V) is inserted into the chain matrix. In this matrix series component sub-carrier signal BY of the color (U signal) and BY component of sub-carrier signal color (V signal) in separate. Here the color difference signal in the form of the color sub carrier. GY signal generated by a combination of color difference signals RY and BY. 3. From YUV selector, luminan signal is passed to a series of black stretch. The working principle is to sharpen the series...

How to connect LCD Display on the Arduino using only 2 pins

Generally for connecting an LCD display to an Arduino using 7 strands, it usually breaks the leg that has any projects that remain few ports to be used. But there is a way, using an IC 74LS164 (8-bit serial shift register), a resistor and a diode, but it's not just hardware, you have to use a library. This Arduino library for connection of 2-wire or 3-wire using HD44780 compatible LCD display via shiftregisters. This circuit is considered "deprecated", but it's worth testing. USB Function Generator Based on AD9833

One tool that I’ve been missing at my lab at home is function generator. They tend to be a bit expensive, so I haven’t bought one. I thought this might be a good opportunity to try and make one myself. I found a pretty common DDS (direct digital synthesis) chip, called AD9833. Then just strap a USB-enabled AVR micro there and maybe some analog electronics.   This board doesn’t do any of the special analog magic to allow for variable amplitude or offset for the signal. The output is fixed to 0-4v. I’m planning to make another completely analog board for adjusting amplitude and offset.

Power On Indicator Circuit Diagram

Some types of electronic equipment do  not provide any indication that they are  actually on when they are switched on.  This situation can occur when the back-light of a display is switched off. In addition, the otherwise mandatory mains  power  indicator  is  not  required  with  equipment  that  consumes  less  than  10 watts. As a result, you can easily forget  to switch off such equipment. If you want  to know whether equipment is still drawing power from the mains, or if you want  to have an indication that the equipment  is switched on without having to modify the equipment, this circuit provides a solution.  One way to detect AC power current and  generate a reasonably constant voltage  independent of the load is to connect a  string of diodes wired in reverse parallel in series with one of the AC supply  leads. Here we selected diodes rated  at 6 A that ...

Bench Amplifier Based on LM386

A small 325mW amplifier with a voltage gain of 200 that can be used as a bench amplifier, signal tracer or used to amplify the output from personal radios, etc.  Circuit Diagram Notes: The circuit is based on the National Semiconductor LM386 amplifier. In the diagram above, the LM386 forms a complete non-inverting amplifier with voltage gain of x200. A datasheet in PDF format can be downloaded from the National Semiconductor. The IC is available in an 8 pin DIL package and several versions are available; the LM386N-1 which has 325mW output into an 8 ohm load, the Lm386N-3 which has 700mW output and the LM386N-4 which offers 1000mW output. all versions work in this circuit. The gain of the Lm386 can be controlled by the capacitor across pins 1 and 8. With the 10u cap shown above, voltage gain is 200, omitting this capacitor and the gain of the amplifier is 20. The IC works from 4 to 12Volts DC, 12Volt being the maximum recommended value. The internal input impedance of the amplifier...

Always on for PCs Circuit

Many enthusiasts will be using their PCs as data loggers, controllers or as web servers. ln these cases it is important that  the machine is kept powered up for as great a fraction of the time as possible, even if there has been a power cut or if the power button is inadvertently pressed by another member of the household. Today's operating systems offer a range  of automation options and it is perfectly possible to arrange things so that the computer starts itself up automatically. Circuit diagram : Always on for PCs Circuit Diagram The 'always on'circuit shown here automatically restarts an ATX PC in the above situations. There are just two components: a Schottky diode connecting the power but-ton pin on the motherboard to the +5 V line on the power supply, and a capacitor from the power  button pin to ground. The  capacitor  is a 68  pF tantalum type rated at 6.3 V, and the diode is a type SB 120, rated at 20 V and 1 A. The total component cost is in the sub-one-bee...

On Demand WC Fan Using 555 Circuit Project

In most WCs with an extractor the fan is connected to the lighting circuit and is switched on and off either in sympathy with the light or with a short delay. Since toilets are sometimes used for washing the hands or just for a quick look in the mirror, it is not always necessary to change the air in the smallest room in the house. The following circuit automatically determines whether there really is any need to run the fan and reacts appropriately. No odour sensor is needed: we just employ a small contact that detects when and for how long the toilet seat lid is lifted.   On-Demand WC Fan Using 555 circuit diagram If the seat lid is left up for at least some presettable minimum time t1, the fan is set running for another presettable time t2. In the example shown the contact is made using a small magnet on the lid and a reed switch mounted on the cistern. The rest is straightforward: IC2, the familiar 555, forms a timer whose period can be adjusted up to approximately 10 to 12 min...

12V Fan Directly on 230V

This Electronic Circuit idea is certainly not new, but when it comes to making a trade-off between using a small, short-circuit proof transformer or a capacitive voltage divider (directly from 230 V mains voltage) as the power supply for a fan, it can come in very handy. If forced cooling is an afterthought and the available options are limited then perhaps there is no other  choice. At low currents a capacitive divider requires less space than a small,  short-circuit proof transformer.  12V Fan Directly on 230V Circuit Diagram: R1 and R2 are added to limit the inrush current into power supply capacitor C2 when switching on. Because the maximum rated operating voltage of resistors on hand is often not known, we choose to have two resistors for the current limit. The same is true for the discharge resistors R3 and R4  for C1. If the circuit is connected to a mains  plug then it is not allowed that a dangerous voltage remains on the plug, hence R3 and R4.  C...
