Apple releases TV spot for new iPods

Apple has just released a fun commercial to showcase its new line of iPod players and the various colours they come in. The TV spot titled ‘Bounce’, has a bunch of colourful iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod shuffles er…bouncing to music. With all that colour and dancing and bouncing, you may forget that Apple’s latest gen line of iPods has some other awesome features. For instance, the fifth gen iPod touch comes with Siri, 4-inch retina display and an A5 chipset. Maybe the next ad will showcase some of these features with less bouncing.link

TV Muter Circuit

Description  Many households are still graced by tube-type television sets. If you want to connect one of these large tellies to your stereo system to improve the sound quality, this is usually not a problem because there are plenty of SCART to Cinch adapters available in accessory shops. However, with some sets your pleasure is spoiled by the fact that the audio outputs of the SCART connector are not muted during channel switching. This can sometimes lead to nasty signal spikes, which can cause the loudspeakers of your stereo system to emit irritating popping and cracking noises. In such cases it is a good idea to fit your system with a mute circuit. Fortunately, the right time to activate the mute circuit is defined by the fact that the happy zapper presses buttons on the remote control to switch channels, and the remote control emits IR signals. There are even inexpensive ready-made IR receiver modules available, such as the TSOP1136 used here, which produce trains of active-low...

TV B Gone Ported to PIC 12F1840

Exapod ported TV-B-Gone, the universal TV off button, to the tiny PIC12F1840. He used the free version of the Hi-Tech compiler so the optimizations leave a lot to be desired, but the code only uses 17% of program memory. The prototype was made on a protoboard and an SOIC packaged PIC. [ ]

TV Audio Video Transmitter Circuit Diagram

Description A very simple TV audio video transmitter circuit can be constructed using this schematic diagram . This TV audio video transmitter circuit can be used to transmit video signals from VCR ( or some other device ) to a TV without using any cable . Video signals input at jack J1 are first terminated by resistor R6 and coupled through capacitor C1 to clamping-diode D1. Potentiometer R3 is used to set the gain of the video signal; its effect is similar to that of the contrast control on a TV set. Bias-control R7 can be used to adjust the black level of the picture so that some level of signal is transmitted, even for a totally dark picture. RF-transformer T1 and its internal capacitor form the tank circuit of a Hartley oscillator that's tuned to 4.5 megahertz. Audio signals input at J2 are coupled to the base of Q3 via C2 and R4: the audio signal modulates the base signal of Q3 to form an audio subcarrier that‚s 4.5-megahertz higher than the video-carrier frequency. The FM ...

TV Relative Signal Strength Meter

This circuit was designed to assist the installation of TV antennas. The signal is monitored using a small portable TV set and this circuit monitors the output of the TV's FM detector IC via a shielded lead. To initially calibrate the meter, adjust trimpot VR2 to zero the meter. Trimpot VR1 is a sensitivity control and can be set for a preset reading (ie, 0dB) or can be calibrated in millivolts. Rotating the antenna for a minimum reading on the meter (indicating FM quieting) gives the optimum orientation for the antenna. Cable TV amplifier

This is a very simple cable TV amplifier using two transistors. This amplifier circuit is most suitable for cable TV systems using 75 Ohm coaxial cables and works fine up to 150MHz. Transistor T1 performs the job of amplification. Up to 20dB gain can be expected from the circuit.T2 is wired as an emitter follower to increase current gain. assembled on a Vero board. Use 12V DC for powering the circuit. Type no of the transistors are not very critical. Any medium power NPN RF transistors can be used in place of T1 and T2. This is just an elementary circuit. Do not compare it with high quality Cable TV amplifiers available in the market.

Process formation of RGB signal on TV

Basically the UOC is equipped with RGB or YUV input from external, so it is possible to use the DVD input. Selection of these inputs can be done internally within the IC.  But in the G7 and G7A chassis input YUV signal is not used, so in the ground. RGB signal processing flow is described according to the image below : Diagram of the formation RGB signal 1. Signal Yint, uint, and Vint is derived from a series of color decoder and Y / C switch is fed into a series of YUV selector 1. 2. From YUV selector, sub-carrier signal color (U and V) is inserted into the chain matrix. In this matrix series component sub-carrier signal BY of the color (U signal) and BY component of sub-carrier signal color (V signal) in separate. Here the color difference signal in the form of the color sub carrier. GY signal generated by a combination of color difference signals RY and BY. 3. From YUV selector, luminan signal is passed to a series of black stretch. The working principle is to sharpen the series...

Power amplifier compatible with TV audio

In this amplifier circuit using IC TDA8944J as the main amplifier with dual-channel audio amplifier with 2 x 7W output power at 8 Ω impedance. And a minimum supply voltage of 9-18 Volts. In this ic contains two Bridge Tied Load or BTL amplifier. The circuit is often found in audio amplifier in a series of television, besides TDA2003, TDA2006 and so forth. PCB for a series of amplifiers using IC TDA8944J is very compatible with all other types of IC in IC TDA894X family unit , and below is a schematics.

TV Video Transmitter Circuit Diagram

This circuit is a video transmitter that has many uses, such as video cameras, security cameras, satellite receivers, DVD, Video Games, etc. .. The circuit transmits 470-580MHz and can be tuned in the UHF channels 21-34. The video transmitter can reach up to 300 meters in open field using a wire antenna of 10-20 cm. TV Video Transmitter Circuit Diagram Video Transmitter Transmitter can work with a voltage from 9 to 15 volts. However, you can also use a 9v battery. Oscillator is based around BF199 and BFR90 is the RF transistors. If necessary, the transmission power can be increased by replacing with BFR90 transistor 2N3886.
